Sir,
In connection with the erection of the New
Terminal Station of the Kowloon-Canton Railway at Kowloon, I have
the honour to report that the system of signalling to be adopted
has been under consideration and the Manager has now recommended that the Consulting Engineers should be asked to obtain the opinion of an expert on the subject and to furnish a complete design for a system of signalling which could be made to serve for the initial requirements of the Station and could be expanded according to
future developments.

I transmit for your information a letter, in
triplicate, addressed by the Manager to the Consulting Engineers with plans and drawings and I shall be glad if they may be forwarded
in due course,
